Low Cost Motor Control System

Traditionally, a feedback control system for a motor uses some device to sense position attached to the motor shaft. For fractional horsepower and micro-motors, this sensor device is expensive relative to the motor cost and large relative to the motor size. The Low Cost Motor Control System eliminates this device entirely and eliminates the electronics to support it. The feedback control is based on the back EMF developed by the motor itself.
