At SIGNALWARE, we specialize in combining TI DSP with Field Programable
Gate Arrays. SIGNALWARE's Rapid Prototype Kit is a ready made way to test
designs that employ this powerful combination of technologies.
The TMS320C50 DSP Starter Kit (DSK), that Texas Instruments supplies, is
a foundation for DSP prototyping. The kit provides a good way to
demonstrate the capability of the C50. However, adding the FPGA, extra
memory and buffered interfaces extends the DSK to a full C50 prototyping
environment. The kit can be purchased preassembled. .
