See SIGNALWARE's Home Page or Customer Reply Form for further assistance.
Signalware daughterboards are sold with test program(s) for the DSP on the development boards and test a configuration (firmware) for the FPGA on the daughterboard. The availability of this software and firmware with a sale is indicated in our Prototype Configuration Table. As time permits Signalware is placing this software and firmware in zipped files on line for presale evaluation and updates for boards in the field. For items which are available and indicated in the table below, the zipped files may be down loaded by clicking on the appropriate entry. Because an entry is missing from the table does NOT mean that it is unavailable; it may only be available for off-line distribution. If a particular item is available but not on-line, please contact Signalware indicating which item you would like to have on line and we will make an effort to post that item as soon as possible.
Signalware test software and firmware items are specifically designed to test the daughterboards. These items are not a full demonstration of all the capabilities of the daughterboards. These tests are not a full test of the capabilities or specifications of the components on the daughterboards. These programs are provided so that customers may repeat the tests that were run at Signalware before the daughterboards were shipped. Signalware only warrents these items for the stated purpose, and is not responsible for any damages that my result from any use beyond the stated purpose.
Customer may find items useful as example programs. Sometimes an application can be written by replacing code in AED_nnn module with application code. However, in other circumstances the software and firmware may need to be substantially rewritten. Signalware can supply services on a time and material basis for consulting on the development of application code. In some intances, Signalware offers packaged code for some applications at fixed prices. Please contact us if assistance with application software or firmware is desired.
In the table below, the entries in the following indicate what is available for on-line and off-line distribution:
Note that in moving a daughterboard between different DSP Development Boards, it may be necessary to change more than just the DSP software. In many case the firmware must also be changed. The firmware may not be available on line to do this in all cases. In some cases, hardware may also have to be modified. Also note that the software supplied is for the latest revision of the daughterboard.
